๐ŸŒฟExplore Stop #4: Town Creek Marsh!

Town Creek Marsh is a small marsh in the bend of Fosters Mill Road overlooking Town Creek. It is an excellent place to see rails feeding on the mudflats during appropriate times of year.

They can sometimes be seen wandering away from these thick reed beds, although they are often found probing along the edges or wading quietly just inside the beds.

The area beyond the marsh is also good for loafing wading birds, like Great Blue Herons, and other species of waterfowl in the winter.๐Ÿฆ…
